FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is an organization that helps students develop leadership, business, and career skills. Members can participate in competitions, community service, and networking events with business professionals. FBLA is great for students interested in business, marketing, finance, technology, or leadership. It offers opportunities to gain real-world experience and prepare for future careers.

 

The Health Occupations Students of America organization focuses on students that have an interest in entering medical fields such as Emergency First Responders, Nursing, Medical Physician, Physical therapy or Pharmacy. This program includes training in CPR, First Aid and involves participation in the State HOSA Competitive Events Program in the spring. Students will eventually be able to volunteer at school, community events and at the local medical centers as part of this program.

 

Intramural volleyball will meet every week on Mondays. Students who join will learn the rules of volleyball, and play noncompetitively (just for fun!).

 

Model UN is student led, providing for the opportunity to develop leadership, public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills. “Model UN simulations engage hundreds of thousands of students each year, helping them to learn more about the principles of the UN and how it functions. Many of today’s leaders in law, government, business and the arts –including at the UN itself – participated in Model UN as students.”

 

The Science Olympiad program is a competitive, research-based STEM program that engages students in intense study to prepare for 23 science, engineering, and technology events. Members work in teams on hands-on builds, lab experiments, and study-based challenges, competing at local, state, and national levels. It’s perfect for curious, motivated students who love problem-solving and teamwork.

  

Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club and dive into epic adventures where you create characters, explore fantastical worlds, and work together to overcome challenges all fueled by imagination and storytelling. Ready for lights, camera, action?! The Film Club is where movie magic comes to life! If you love diving into the worlds on screen, breaking down epic scenes, and uncovering the secrets of great storytelling, this is your crew!

We’re not just watching movies; we’re deconstructing them. From suspenseful thrillers to laugh-out-loud comedies, we’ll explore different genres and learn the filmmaking tricks that make them unforgettable. And yest, there will be popcorn!

 

Join our all-girls Turkish Dance Club to celebrate culture, music, and movement! We meet every Monday in Room 108 to learn and practice traditional Turkish dances while building teamwork and confidence. In April, we’ll showcase our talent by competing in exciting dance competitions. Come be part of a fun and supportive group that keeps tradition alive through rhythm and performance!

 

Dive into a vibrant world of cultures! Our Multicultural Club is a space to explore and celebrate the rich tapestry of global traditions. Share your heritage, learn about diverse customs through engaging activities like food tasting, craft making, traditional games, and meaningful discussions.  Join us in building bridges of understanding and friendship!

 

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. Great Decisions is in partnership with the Foreign Policy Association, which has been encouraging nonpartisan discussion on U.S. foreign policy for over 100 years. The program gives citizens the opportunity to learn about some of the most critical global issues facing America today.

 

Girls of Virtue will be available to mentor, guide, motivate, and inspire the girls in the program. Classes on personal growth, financial education, improved health with fitness and nutrition, personal brand, self-defense, and spiritual balance will be provided. As the girls reach an age where they can enter the workforce, Girls of Virtue will provide resources to assist them in obtaining vocational licenses. The mentorship relationship will continue during the secondary education process to ensure the girls in the program are successful and happy in their new careers.

The Mosaic Club brings together students from different language and cultural backgrounds to share, learn, and build strong relationships. Native Speakers of Turkish, Spanish, and other languages will help classmates practice speaking skills while members explore world cultures through discussions of literature, traditional recipes, movies, and more! By combining many individuals like “mosaics” we aim to unite everyone for one cause: A more peaceful world.
